Almost every firewall comes with a VPN module with an additional fee. So
if you trust your firewall, you can trust it's VPN implementation too.
Using PPTP you can provide the confidentiality you want. But as far as i
know, the performance is poor eith the usual connection speeds (22.8 or
33.6)
