This sounds really silly, but does anybody have a PerlScript,
program, etc etc that I can use to test a POP3 server? I want to
run a series of tests and repeat them. The test software should:

1. Open a connection to the server
2. Do the login/authentication
3. Get list of mail
4. Selectively transfer mail (from a list)
5. Selectively delete mail (from a list)
6. Close the connection.

I think I had something that did this a LOOONG time ago, but
I never needed to test stuff so I lost it in the junk heap.
Even a script for a standard mail program would be ok...

Suggestions on this are welcome.
