Despite IPsec being a 'standard' true interoperability is still a crap
shoot and firewall vendors are not putting a lot of energy into telling
customers how to establish VPNs with competing products.
Raptor has a good client product called Eagle Mobile which you would use
to get secure logon and encryption. Or, if you are both using Cisco
routers, you could look at using IP layer encryption. Other than that,
you will will probably simply have to try it yourself and see.
