First, let me apologise to the list for wasting bandwidth. It won't
happen again (I hope).
I hope this is on-topc B-):
Does anyone know of a way to restrict NFS to a given port or set
of ports (apart from the obvious 2049 and 111)? I'm using NFS over a
dial-in connection to an isolated LAN (i.e. no security problems for the
main network, just the server on the small LAN) as a short-term measure
while the software is reworked. I realise NFS is insecure in itself (I
read the archives ...), but I'd at least like to make a "best effort" at
reducing the holes.
Thanks
Ian
p.s. If i'm off topic again I'll go quietly!
