Well, just for the sake of going further off topic,
and propagating religious wars...

Sure, the Sun box is reliable with 4.1.3, unless
you happen to have runts, giants, too many, 
or badly formed frame on your Ethernet, in
which case the box just kind of drops off
the net..

It's a good thing that real-world production
nets have those kind of problems.

Or were you being sarcastic?

I would pit a Sun 4/330 with 4.1.3 against the newest box you can find (your
choice of manufacturer) running either NT or 95, any day. I guarantee you that
the NT/95 box would have to be rebooted (or would otherwise fail) months before
the Sun box. When it comes to workhorses for network servers, nobody (with a
capital N) can beat Sun Microsystems. I have seen it with mine own eyes. That
will never change, no matter how much money or effort M$ puts into their R&D.
