Oh, yes 3.51, 4.0 SP1. Say, have you ever read on NTsec lists about
bugs in the kernel (wrong checksum -> forwarding onto wrong interfaces,
insuficient checksum -> denial of service and compromised security,
service packs partially inverted by ms office and following service
packs, problems of incompatibility of software with SPx, having to
uninstall SP3+SP2 just to get AWE64 to run ? Have you heard several
rumours, that TCO has increased up to 6x with NT, just to quote Aberdeen
group (see Computerworld) and OSRAM and several german banks.
I've got enough experience, i go back to good old sun 2+ and freebsd and
linux. Much cheaper in costs (for NT+sql for www i have to pay 3500$ +
7000$ for develloperkit. NT for free is much too expensive.
