Gauntlet proxies understand the timeout variable.

Depending on the version of Gauntlet you would either set this in the
netperm-table or through the gui.

For versions PRIOR to 4.0x of Gauntlet, you can add the following entry to
your netperm-table:

tn-gw: timeout X

where X is some number in seconds.

By default, the standard timeout is 7200 seconds...that's 2 hours.
