hi
We have 2 remote LPD printers that are Depcon print servers. If one
Depcon

is down, want to be able to automatically switch to the other i.e. two
physical printers treated as one logical printer.

    They have tried the following:-

    Print classes:-

     lpadmin -p printer1 -c classname
     lpadmin -p printer2 -c classname

will add printers 1 and 2 to class called classname.
     accept classname
will enable the printer class. So, any prints to the class classname
will be

printed on printer1 if available, else, printer2.

     lp -dclassname

But I got the error message like this
lpadmin error: you have specified a remote printer and supplied one or
more

    of the following options:-
    etc

I don't know what to do ..can somebody help me here ????

-thanx and regards
Srinath P
