It is an IOS Firewall Feature Set (FFS) is an IOS upgrade. The IOS FFS
only works with the Cisco 16xx & 25xx routers, of which there are
literally millions deployed in the field. The new version of IOS FFS
is:
11.2(.11)P - which is currently available. There is also a new version
to be released May-ish 98, which will expand the feature set to include
the multimedia protocols, its version is:
11.3(3)T. You will need to double check with Cisco on the various
upgrade paths and availability. This is an excellent solutions for
securing remote office locations which have the smaller routers.
