1. Are you sure they're actually doing it over the Internet and not
	some dedicated line? If over the Internet, is it encrypted?

2. This sounds like one of those situation where there is no security
	policy and everything is allowed but the powers that be want a
	"firewall" 'cause "thats what you need these days to be secure".

	Why not just get a piece of coax and tell them its a "firewall
	cable"? :)

3. I believe Legato uses RPC. Good luck :)
