However, the last time I looked at this problem the SQL*Net proxy was
only being made available from Oracle for the Sun (& maybe SGI)
platforms leaving the rest of us out in the cold. Makes one wonder
how Oracle claims to being a multi-platform vendor when they support
such a narrow list of platforms with this critical proxy.
