I have come across one additional problem with MCI. Sendmail likes to
collect up addresses going to the same host so that it only has to
deliver one copy of the message. But if you give mcimail.com a list of
recipients and ONE of them is wrong, it will not deliver the message to
any of the named recipients---even the valid ones. Correspondence with
MCI has confirmed that this is the case. Unfortunately, those that run
things at MCI see no reason to fix this in any sort of reasonable time
frame. Their reaction was (paraphrased) "well, yeah, we do things
differently. That's just how our internal mailer works. Maybe some day
we'll fix it."
