Delete them.  (If you really want to, issue a response to the sender
from the list expander, but don't leave them in the messages you
send to the list.  Especially if the list is gatewayed to a newsgroup!)

The IETF NOTARY working group is developing a standard for both delivery
reports and an SMTP extension to request delivery reports.  This avoids
the problems inherent in the return-receipt-to header.
