it actually strips ALL white spaces from the body....  the commercial
version, however, rolls in the From: address into the stripped body as well
and then computes the checksum -- therefore a user can re-send his/her
message from a different account if listproc bounces his/her original posting
("... you are not subscribed ..."); also, someone else can bounce the same
message to the list (in that case Sender: or Resent-From: is rolled in, not
From:)... tasos
