Hi Dave and list members,
Our "Help with Internet E-mail and Mailing lists" page contains
extensive guidance on the use of e-mail, including conventions,
privacy considerations, participation in mailing lists,
signature files, etc., etc. It is on-line at:
http://www.city.grande-prairie.ab.ca/h_email.htm#Top
It also has a section "Links to E-mail Guides, etc." at:
http://www.city.grande-prairie.ab.ca/h_email.htm#Links_To_Guides
which lists a dozen or more guides to e-mail generally (not
just for mailing lists, though they are there too). Some of
these are more bite-sized.
- Chet.
