A bit of humor to fill the summer slump (actually, Firewalls has been
so quiet lately, I just want to see if everything still works! :-)

If you stray, you can find yourself in the routing swamp that smells a
lot like the sendmail.cf swamp. Ever wonder why few users @
 sgi .
 com
answer questions about sendmail? The analogy with an enormous,
danagerous swamp with one or two public roads is good. The natives can
go almost anywhere in the swamp, but outsiders tend to disappear if they
leave the road on their own. Outsiders tend to not step where they're
told, ignore warnings and touch things that are dangerous, talk loudly
and attract the attention of monsters, have no respect for the native
taboos and traditions, and generally be more trouble than the fees they
are willing to pay native guides.
