Subject: Blocking holes vs. laying traps in them.

Having just spent a bit reading Bill Cheswicks 'Evening with Berferd'
paper, its inspired me to ask - what are people's feelings about either
closing any possible holes vs leaving something in place to log any
attempts to use that hole. Does that information gain you much, and if
so, is it worth the effort? We log some things here, and I'm trying to
make up my mind as to whether its worth logging more.

So, what do you folks think?

Anthony
