The Usenix Security Symposium proceedings are generally a good
start point for those willing to learn about firewalls and other
issues related to security. Usenix Security III proceedings have
lots of interesting things, those from the Security IV are a little
bit lighter but still interesting.
Users' associations working groups are also sometimes very productive
in the area of systems and networks security and furnish independant
high quality information.
