Yes, the current version of the InterLock gateways 3270 over a telnet connection
for clients that follow the RFCs. However some clients seem to come up and
by default insist upon 3270 data stream formats which makes it tougher. The
next version of the InterLock will also support these types of clients.

The problem is that in order for your gateway to talk to a 3270 client that
is emulating 3270, you will need to have the gateway properly negotiate the
appropriate telnet options (eg. EOR, Term Type). Then your gateway has to be
able to send and receive properly formatted 3270 data streams for displaying
and retrieving information.
