I attended your seminar the other day in San Jos?, CA and it was very
impressive. I'm not a real UNIX hack, but it's looking simpler all the
time.
Being somewhat involved in networks, and having to man the post at the
internet gate, there are some ground rules I am looking for. The first
rule I would like to find is the RFC for TCP/IP. At first glance, it
appears to me that any security measure depends on the old 1's and 0's
and just where they are in the "stream of things." I've seen many
pretty pictures of the TCP/IP protocol, but am looking for a digest of
possible values and their descriptions.

Besides being a busy day for Firewalls postings (17), yesterday was
also a busy day for subscriptions. _46_ new people subscribed to
either Firewalls or Firewalls-Digest yesterday... We must have gotten
mentioned somewhere. Firewalls is approaching 2000 subscribers (should
be there by the end of the week, at this rate), and firewalls-digest is
over 850.
