I want to be able to have a firewall with two ethernet cards on two
different networks with one being the unsecure that goes to a router and
then to the world and the other network being the secure network for my
users. I would like to have one machine on the secure network to handle
mail and DNS and have my users to be able to do their internet work as
normal from their computers not the firewall except maybe going out
through a proxy server for telneting and ftping. My main goal is to have
e-mail flow from the internet to my secure machine through the firewall.
What I have read about Dual-homed firewalls is that the users have to
log into the firewall to beable to use the internet. Is this possible or am
I dreaming ? Is there any software out there that will do this ?
thanks
