Firewalls (October 1994) |
>Way off the normal firewalls topic, but in line with the current tangent, >does anyone know of a PC virus scanner that runs on Unix? We have many >PC drives on the network that are served under NFS by Unix servers. COAST's TRIPWIRE is the closest thing I know of - more of an integrity management tool but will detect virus attempts to change files on UNIX systems. The only cross-platform Scanners I know of are NLMs for Novell (McAfee, Intel, TNS). Warmly, Padgett
