Compromise of authentication information (sorry it's not as poetic
as covert channel). Maybe we should just say "key compromise" since
we're compromising the keys that otherwise lock out the unwashed.
Compromise takes place because someone has inserted a subverted
mechanism into the system, so there is an aspect of "subverted
operating equipment" too.
