If you want better performance you could fool around with the
"/usr/OV/app-defaults/OVw" file to prevent the tool and or the
navigation windows from appearing. Also, you could turn off automatic
event display at initialization. However, that defeats the purpose
of the product.
What I suggest you do is either buy an ALPHA from Digital and
gain substantial performance or live with your current environment.
You may want to look at NetView for Windows NT. Review the October
24th edition of PC Week; article Polycenter pages 1 and 147. You may
find it interesting.
