I'm not certain, but I believe that WFW and NT do this through NetBIOS over
TCP/IP (Microsoft's NBT protocol). If so, the port numbers for this service
are:
nbname 137/udp
nbdatagram 138/udp
nbsession 139/tcp

I'm more than a litle concerned to hear this.
Apparently the ftp site is on the "dirty" side of the firewall, so it is
accessable to the internet.
Is there some way to filter the packets so others can't do this to us? Does
anyone know the port(s) to block to prevent this from happening?
Where can I get more information on this?
