I do not profess to know the consensus, but I do not have a high opinion
of sidewinder. The discussions I've seen in the last few months on Sidewinder
have branded them as a "marketing" before "technical" company. While this
may be untrue, it left a bad taste in my mouth. I know of at least two
"Sidewinder Challenges" and I know at least one of these challenges resulted
in their firewall being cracked. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I just don't trust
their package. I would be interested in hearing other people's final opinions.
I would have a much higher confidence in a product such as MIDnet's SecurIt,
which is based on TIS's crystal box toolkit. (<- Shameless plug)
