  I've also heard a bit of talk about MIT's version of telnet.  Anyone have
any experience with that?  
  It seems to me that this would be secure, and would only threaten the network
with any bugs in the encryption-tunnel server on the firewall, though I 
trust both the deslogind and what I've heard about MIT's telnetd.
