Hi,
We are in the process of determining the requirements for a T1 connection
between our site and a business partner's site. Among other things (which
I have a reasonable handle on) the project staff that will be using this
link require Lotus Notes.
We will have a dual router setup on this link, with a DMZ between the
two supporting necessary services, but we've been asked to set things
up so that Lotus Notes clients can run directly on workstations on
our main network (all other desired services will run on systems in
the DMZ, with the routers set up to block most traffic).
I don't have enough knowledge of Lotus Notes to evaluate how serious
a threat this will be - my initial feeling is that it's NOT a very good
idea.
I'd appreciate any information that anyone can give me regarding Lotus
Notes so that I can decide what's necessary here...
Thanks!
Ross
