We have a '486/33 BSDI box with a T1 board in it, and a 16bit
ethernet adapter that we use as a router between two of our offices.
It talks to a Cisco on the other side. As far as I've measured, it
seems that doing the T1 takes about 20% of the CPU power of the box.
Not bad at all...

One of the things that has been "on my plate" for a long
time is a real benchmark of Gauntlet(and by extension fwtk) type
firewalls. I can't say when it'll get done, though.
