Ive run TIS' FWTK on a 386sx40 4M with 8bits ethernet cards.... and it
added aprox 50-80 msec to the delay. It had no problem with filling
our line (a 256K)
So, to make it "real" transparent to the users. You probable need at
least a 486... (or better)
