Subject: Appletalk resources safe behind IP router?

Someone at work suggested this scenario for the protection of Appletalk
based resources from the outside world:

Have an internal net with a mixture of Appletalk only and TCP/IP only
machines, with an Acend P50 router to the Internet which is set to IP
traffic only.

The question is, will this prevent someone from the outside world from
accessing services or information from Appletalk only machines, if there
are no machines which can speak both protocols? It's understood that
someone could watch Appletalk traffic, but we're more worried about
protecting the actual resources.

thanks for any comments,
Junya
