Hello,
being from the french speaking part of Switzerland (a linguistic minority),
I would say it is a good idea however I don't see the point of a french
speaking mailing list regarding firewalls and networked security. If it is
to read french-ism like: parefeu or other meaningless vocabulary to be used
in the discussion just because it needs to be in french I say no! Almost
99.9% of all the products that are involved with firewalling and networked
security have their documentation in english.

I don't see what specifics can be talked about regarding countries unless
you want to talk about laws or encryption technologies, which is IMHO a very
marginal part of security.
