Do not despair because you see disparate opinions on firewalls.
This is a feature and not a bug. There may be some consensus on some
areas of firewalls but that does not mean there are not worthwhile
viewpoints that differ.
For instance -- src vs no src, split dns vs un-split dns, etc
Keep reading and thinking and reading on the topic and pick what you
agree with. There is no one on this list I agree with 100% I bet
that will hold true with you.
