There are two software products that I know of that do this sort of thing
between unix hosts.
1) BoKS 4.2 from Dynasoft (support @
dynas .
se) in Sweden. They also produce a
security layer
for DOS the provides a secure Telnet up to the Unix boxes using a Smart
card system for authentication and for holding the encryption key.
2) Stel from vince @
dsi .
unimi .
it which is currently at Beta and will be
available free or at least shareware.
Both of these seem to do the job quite well, but rely on the hosts
themselves having the software at both ends. BoKS does have the advantage
of being a larger probuct that address alot of Unix security and user
management issues across a heterogeneous network.!
