Subject: ADMIN: anon address problem fixed

If you posted recently to the firewalls list you may have received
a message from the anon server (anon.penet.fi) assigning you an
anonymous ID of the form "anNNNNNN @
 anon .
 penet .
 fi". This is caused by
someone subscribing to the list with an anNNNNNN @
 anon .
 penet .
 fi address.
This is not permitted, since it causes the above problem. Anonymous
accounts *are* permitted, but you must use the form "naNNNNNN @
  .
  .
  .
 "
which permits the receipt of anon mail but does not anonymize incoming
mail nor force allocation of an ID.

I removed the user and advised him/her of the above.

You may safely ignore the message from the anon server.
