Ascend Communications, Inc. uses a modified version of the RADIUS v1.16
daemon for use with thier MAX family - their latest version is 4.4B. You
may find the latter version via:

	ftp.ascend.com:/pub/Radius

RADIUS seems to be far superior to TACACS - no plaintext passwords,
unique subtyped records, far better logging for billing purposes.

On the Firewalls side: Does anyone here have any stories regarding
filters on the Pipeline family? (aside from the incredibly intuitive menuing
system <g> ).
