Packed in sensible batch-files I would say that most modern anti-virus
systems can be used to do that. The one we have been producing since 1987,
PC Vaccine Professional, certainly could easily be used that way.
However, I think you will find that this problem will go away, and the
filtering need almost or completely disappear if you implement an in-depth
anti-virus strategy on your network based on several lines of defence: First
line of defence a behaviour-blocker, second line of defence a checksummer
and third line of defence, to be used in case of an alarm from one of the
other two, a scanner.
That said, it probably does no harm to scan that CD master with three or
four good scanners before shipping it off to production...
