Just checked out the MIT listing (utexas points to same list) and that
is the same one I used in my original ETHCRD program a couple of years ago.
Unfortunately, APR '93 is somewhat out of date (for instance 3Com is using
00 20 AF for their current 3C509 cards - possibly 3C589 PCMCIA units as
well, do not know about that).
If anyone has other mfr. codes that are not in that listing or mfr name
changes using the same numbers, please send them to me:

ps when posting to the firewalls group on one of my rants, you do not need
to cc: me. Getting three to five of the same message (group bounces come
