This is my first post on this forum, and I'm hoping that i'm sending it to
the right destination.
Our company provides internet services to the surrounding community. We
currently have a 10 user site with a government department. All of these
users have an individual modem, phone line, and ppp software.
This gov't department also runs some TCP/IP applications on Banyan vines
for internal usage (about 80% of the users)
We've found that we must use two different winsock drivers, one for their
internal tcp/ip applications, and one for using the modem. We would like
to ultimately supply their organization with ONE tcp/ip connection via isdn
or T1.
They are PARANOID about their firewall. Can anyone suggest how we can go
about adding internet tcp/ip services to their existing tcp/ip network, AND
maintain a firewall so NO internet users can access their internal network,
while letting all internal employees access the internet (which is strictly
www)
