A one-time pad is only as secure as its distribution medium (remember, both
parties in a communication need the same pad). As the John Walker spy case
here in the states demonstrates, secure distribution of the pads is a
non-trivial challenge.
In theory, one-time pads are infinitely secure, but caveat emptor (not a slam
against Elementrix, just that the devil is in the details).
