Card drivers, used under DOS are not the same card drivers used under UNIX, You will have to get the correct UNIX drivers from your software vendor.

Normally these drivers are supplied with the OS. but in recent time, it has become apparent that OS suppliers will expect you to purchase the new drivers.

I would recommend that you search the suppliers ftp site for such a driver.

Subject: card drivers for Unix

Hi,

does any one can send me any information about the following
question, :

Does a card (used to connect a PC to a local net, where the Pc is
running Unix) requires card drivers, or not? If yes, do the drivers
used under DOS, can be used under Unix, or we should bay
other drivers?

I attend a rapid response,

thank you,
