Hey folks,
I gotta admit it. I have only worked a UNIX machine where I was a
user but in the next 6 months, our business is putting in a UNIX box and I
am going to have to learn everything I can about the system and securing it.
I can handle myself on the DOS or Mac sides but where is the best place to
go to learn rapidly? I've picked up several books in the last couple of
years covering UNIX and TCP/IP networking so I do understand several terms
and concepts. The only thing is that I don't want to be an easy target for
people.
I have _Building_Internet_Firewalls_ by Chapman and Zqicky (O'Reilly
& Assoc). Please have some mercy on this poor, about-to-be-initiated,
trying-to-expand-TCP'ily soul.
:)
