The recently released Netscape version 2.01 does allow you to disable
JavaScript in the Security Preferences dialog. This is a good thing;
the lack of this feature brought NS some heat from this group. Of
course, it doesn't help those who'd like to enforce it on a site-wide
basis.
However, when I just tried to access Netscape's home page with
JavaScript disabled, I got a blank document. It worked as soon as I
turned j/s back on. >:-( Not a good thing.
