I recently posted to the list asking for
assistance in locating a list of ISPs worldwide.
In addition to working, I am a graduate student trying :-( to get
some background info on who is in the field. In an
effort to be helpful, I included my full name and
office address.
Some of you have been very helpful and indeed
"point(ed) me in the right direction" of
thelist.com. Thank you.
Others were less polite. I don't really understand
why people feel comfortable typing things that
they would never say in person. But that's a
subject for a different grad student perhaps.
