Can Mary provide convincing reasons why people might want to divulge non
technical information to her national government without legal compulsion ?
Consider the way USA govt. disrupts world industry with stupid encryption
export laws, persecutes Zimmerman(PGP) etc, & tries to enforce Clipper chips.
How does it benefit this international mail list (dedicated to the
technical issues of firewalls), to co-operate with the legislative department
of a disruptive national government ?
