Thomas, it really depends what you want to protect against. If you
want to encrypt the messages, authenticate servers etc. you can
point to http://www.sni.de/public/aswba/com/en/mail11.htm if you
want to follow the X.400 ('88) approach. If you want to encrypt
and sign the messages end to end give Telenet in Munich a call,
+ 49 89 3607 3120 and ask for Kurt Maier. If you want to connect
a classified internal network to the public network Alcatel Norway
has a B2+ MLS MTA. If so come back to me and I can establish
the contact.

Again what is the problem. Classified to unclassified, internal
to external through the firewall..... or.....?

What is the problem here? Authenticating the users or confidentiallity,
or do you need signatures for non repudiation?
