As someone that used to contract for them (I no longer do
for close to two years thus I have nothing to gain by saying this)
What I did while contracting there was preform security audits
as a replacement for dan farmer while a new permanent employee was
located and hired. Thus I got a chance to view many of the internal
attitudes and inner workings.
They are one of the most meticulous firewalling professionals I have seen.
As a security contractor when I review a site (audit or a one day
consultation) I frequently place Pilot as one of the high-end options
for secure Internet service, with myself as a mid-level option and
peers as a cheaper option, depending on what the clients security desires are.
They are expensive but they are full service and good.
