We've been bitten by this one several times as well.  I'm told that
"small" files (less than a few KB) are vulnerable; larger files use
different kernel code which doesn't happen to have this bug.

The bug ID is 1245236.  It is a "high priority item" but I don't know when
a patch will be issued.
