Here is our situation:

  - Network = Novell
  - Used protocol: -IPX
                   -IP to address the router
                   -IP for the server
                   -IP for SMNP

Need:
  - Give an Internet access to our employes.
  - No sever web or news on our network.

  - Knowing that we dont want , in any case, to use a FireWall like
BorderWare,FireWall 1 ... because it is much too expensive.

Please help me with the following questions:

  - Do you know any software or hardware to make our nerwork the
    less vulnerable possible?

  - What do you think of the following solution?
      - Use a router CISCO 1004 with an Internet Junction
      - Use the new gateway IPeXchange of CISCO

  - Since the IP is in the IPx, to which point would we be vulnerable?

  - Since the IP is in the IPX, is the decelaration is considerable?

  - If an outside person would do a telnet on one of our IP address,
would she have access to our network?

Thanks in advance

              Martin Blouin
