The current version of the Scanner is 3.3.2
Plans are to release 4.0 soon. By the end of the summer. There is a
big jump in the version number for good reason as well. You can get
the latest info on the current version from the web site
(www.iss.net).

Is better than good :)
Price? It all depends. We offer perpetual licenses, 30
subscriptions, etc., etc. It all depends on how much you want (from
single IP to a class A) and for how long (perpetual, 30 days). I
don't want to hazard a guess as to the pricing structure, esp. when
4.0 comes out. I don't know. Your best bet would be to download the
eval copy (fully functional, but only scans localhost) and try it for
yourself. If you are satisfied with the product you may then call us
and get a key for however many addresses you want. In the near
future we hope to be able to offer online ordering of our products,
at which time we will have extensive price lists on the web.
No, we do not have any BSD versions. We also do not have a Solaris
x86 version either, which seems to be more in demand than the BSD
variants.
We offer versions for:
HP-UX 9.X +
AIX 3.25 +
Linux
SunOS 4.x +
Solaris 2.5
with a port to Windows NT coming soon.
If you or anyone else on the list have any more questions you are
welcome to email me.
Thanks,
